ADP is converted into ATP through cellular respiration. How this happens is that one phosphate molecule breaks off from a bond and from that point enerygent is released. 3 phosphate molecules from ATP to turn into only 2 phosphates. ADP comes back again after you digest food into smaller particles that the body can use. The process to turn ADP back into ATP requires a ton of energy, and this process produces more net gain energy so that there is more energy available for the body to use whenever it needs it!
